Counseling Corner

My mission as your school counselor is to advocate for all learners, and develop guided programs with equitable access.
By maintaining the home to school connection, we can foster positive self-images through a collaborative effort, which leads to responsible and productive citizenship.
I strive to provide all students with the skills they need to be successful in academics, social and career development.
I am able to use reliable data to make decisions and help to address the needs and expectations of our school.
This may look like:
  • Individual counseling support
  • Group counseling support and
  • A whole school wide intervention practice.
A comprehensive school counseling program is not simply a support service but an essential aspect of the total education program here at HTLA Middle School
