We will not be having Casual Friday this week. Over the past several days, we have seen too many students struggling to meet our community expectations, both in the classroom and during lunch and field time. Disruptions during instruction and disrespectful interactions with peers are not in line with who we are as an HTLA community.
Casual Friday is something we enjoy together, and it comes with the responsibility of showing up for each other with respect and care. When our community is not in that place, we pause and reset.
We believe in you and know you are capable of better. Demonstrate that this week, and we look forward to bringing Casual Friday back.
