Choosing the correct middle and high school for your child is critical to their success in college and beyond. HTLA Middle School exists to provide an excellent school choice for every student. HTLA MS is an open-enrollment, tuition-free public school that is open to every student living in California. We serve all students. Your child is welcomed and embraced by HTLA MS, regardless of race, zip code, ethnicity, home language, income, gender, or disability. We are currently admitting students through our lottery for the current school year, 2026-2027. For the 2026-2027 school year, we will hold a public blind lottery on February 26, 2026, at 4:30 pm, and students will be admitted on February 26, 2026. HTLA MS Fall Exhibition Night

Join HTLA students, staff, and parents as we celebrate all of the amazing projects our students have completed during the semester. Fall Exhibition Night will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00pm at HTLA. This is a great opportunity for prospective families to tour our campus, speak with current students, and ask questions! A Food Truck will be on campus from 5:00pm-7:00pm. All are welcome!

HighTech LA Middle School is a public school of choice, and no student may be required to attend. Students who do not wish to attend may enroll in another charter school, their school of residence, or in another school in their school district of residence or another school district pursuant to an intra- or inter-District transfer.
