COVID - 19 Information

The COVID-19 vaccination is not required for the 2022-2023 school year, but High Tech LA Middle School encourages all eligible students to be vaccinated against COVID-19. 
 
For the 2022-23 school year, HTLA will be partnering with the State of California and Heluna Health to offer free Covid-19 testing to all students and staff, with no insurance information required. HTLA Middle School will not conduct weekly COVID-19 testing. In accordance with the guidance from the CDC, the LA County Department of Public Health, and LAUSD, HTLA Middle School will only test students and staff who are close contacts of someone who has had COVID-19 or students and staff who are presenting symptoms of COVID-19. Testing will be a rapid antigen test and it will be conducted at HTLA Middle School.
 
All students must register to participate in our COVID-19 testing program. (No insurance information will be requested.) Anyone who does not wish to register will be responsible for their own testing, should their student become a close contact of someone with COVID-19, or if they are presenting symptoms.
